8 tips for chiller maintenance to make chiller more durable.
1. When starting the air-cooled chiller unit, it should check whether the fan steering is correct. If the forward rotation can be turned on, the reverse rotation means that the power wiring is inverted and the phase sequence must be replaced before starting.
2. The set values of the various protective devices of the unit have been adjusted by the factory. Users should not change them at will.
3. When the unit fails and alarms and stops, press the unit's stop button (the alarm light will go out), and then check the cause of the fault. Do not forcefully start the machine and run before the fault is eliminated.
4. If the unit is not in an emergency, the unit must not be turned off by cutting off the main power; if the unit is stopped in winter for a long time, the unit will be turned off first, then the main power will be turned off, and the water in the system will be drained.
5. Keep the machine room clean and well ventilated, and regularly clean and remove condensers to ensure the normal and stable operation of the unit.
6. Water-cooled water chiller should keep the heat dissipation water tower clean and keep the air around the water tower circulating and the temperature is low to avoid debris entering the cooling tower and reduce heat dissipation efficiency.
7. Please keep the surface of the chiller heat dissipation coil for air-cooled water chiller clean to ensure that the surrounding air is circulating and the temperature is low. Clean the scale on the coil regularly to ensure a good heat exchange effect.
8. If the chiller has been in use for more than 6 months, or the high\/low voltage switch often fails, or the refrigeration capacity is reduced, please arrange staff to clean the condenser. If repairs are carried out according to the above instructions many times, the chiller fault alarm will still ring , then you have to ask a professional water chiller repairer to repair it.
